About Us
Our Mission
To unite students across disciplines in the health sciences and related fields to:
- Educate our communities about the nature and implications of strategies and proposals to establish universal health care.
- Advocate for policies that improve access to equitable, comprehensive, high-quality, affordable health care for residents of Pennsylvania and, moreover, the entire United States.
- Advocate for single-payer policies, in particular, as the most equitable, effective, and sustainable solution to achieve comprehensive, high-quality, affordable health care for all.
Our Membership
We are an interdisciplinary alliance of students from across the health sciences and related fields at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. We represent the future of medicine, public health, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, social work, rehabilitation sciences, public policy, and law.
